How to use the odds converter

1. Pick the format you're starting from - decimal, fractional, or American.
2. Type in the odds exactly as your bookmaker shows them (e.g. 7/2, 4.50, or +350).

Why odds formats differ

UK and Irish bookmakers mostly quote fractional odds (5/1, 7/2), exchanges and most European/international sites use decimal (6.00, 4.50), and US sportsbooks use American (+500, -150). They're all describing the exact same price - just with a different convention - so converting between them doesn't change what you'd actually win, it just makes the number readable wherever you're betting.

A quick reference

• Evens = 1/1 fractional = 2.00 decimal = +100 American
• 2/1 = 3.00 decimal = +200 American
• 1/2 (odds-on) = 1.50 decimal = -200 American
